These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of silverstarlights.ca (the "Site"), operated by SilverStar Lights ("SilverStar," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Wholesale, Trade-Only Business
SilverStar Lights is a manufacturer-direct wholesale supplier of permanent soffit and landscape lighting systems. Products and pricing referenced on this Site are made available exclusively to licensed contractors, home builders, electricians, and authorized trade partners, and are not offered for direct sale to consumers. Homeowners are directed to one of our dealer partners for product and installation inquiries.
2. Site Content
All content on this Site — including text, images, logos, and product descriptions — is the property of SilverStar Lights or its licensors and is provided for informational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
3. Dealer and Partner Relationships
Becoming a SilverStar dealer or partner is subject to a separate written agreement between SilverStar Lights and the partner. Nothing on this Site constitutes an offer to enter into a dealer, distributor, or partnership relationship; such relationships are only formed once a written agreement has been signed by both parties.
4. Warranty
SilverStar lighting systems are covered by a 12-year warranty on components, subject to the full written warranty terms provided with each order. General warranty information on this Site is provided for convenience and does not replace or modify the written warranty terms that accompany a purchase.
5. No Professional Advice
Information on this Site — including installation guidance, specification suggestions, and FAQ content — is general in nature. It does not replace the judgment of a licensed electrician or contractor, or compliance with local electrical codes and permitting requirements, which remain the responsibility of the installing partner.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SilverStar Lights is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or reliance on its content. Our liability for products sold is governed exclusively by the applicable dealer agreement and product warranty.
7. Third-Party Links and Tools
This Site uses Jobber to process inquiry and support form submissions. We are not responsible for the availability or practices of third-party services linked from or embedded in this Site.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
